KAP ON THE KEYS provides soft background piano jazz to create an atmosphere of upbeat yet classy ambiance to grace most occasions. Rico Kaplan has been playing piano since he was four years old. He studied in Naples, Italy and then later on at Jazz Mobile and Music and Art High School in New York City. From 1980 to 1982 he regularly performed in Nuoro and Cala Gonone, Sardegna. Once back in the States Rico played in various local Portland venues. Rico loves to play, is personable, and loves to interact with his patrons. If there is music or when the patrons can sing it, Rico most likely can play it. You will enjoy what Rico brings to the keyboard and to your special occasion.
