Johanna was wonderful. We really liked her sense of humor and professionalism. It was a great experience. Everything went off without a hitch. We also thought the vows where read at a nice pace; this meant a lot to us because we wrote our vows. Wonderful experience! I will recommend Johanna to everyone I know. In fact, I already have!

Johanna is sooo sweet! I'm so glad we found her. She was very professional but also very down to earth which was really refreshing. She read our vows better than I could have imagined, truthfully. She did a wonderful job, the wind was blowing pretty hard also and we did not have a microphone for her but she made it work and it was awesome :). We would definitely recommend her to any of our friends. I felt so bad because later in our video I had noticed that our background was towering over her and blowing all around but she just kept reading, you could see that it actually meant something to her too. Johanna was very helpful with our Commitment Ceremony we did most of the planning and decorating ourselves with help and advice from her. We would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to marry! Words can't begin to express how awesome Johanna with An Event To Remember was. It was a very complicated service with skits and 11 songs and I didn't think we had a prayer of pulling it off but we did! Not only did it go smoothly it was perfect and Johanna was the reason why. She gave us the perfect ceremony personalized to exactly what we wanted and she was right by our side guiding us each and every step for months. She worked very hard for us and her fees are stupidly low for all the work she does. She loves her job and she loves her clients and it shows. We even got a special surprise at the end that means the world to us. Choose her for your officiant you wont be dissappointed and also hire her for the day of coordination, of all the money I spent the little amt she charged us for the incredible amount of work she did was the best money I spent for the wedding. We actually got to enjoy the day because all the stress was off us. For an example; The cake people put the 5 ft high cake together wrong and it fell onto the floor. Before we could even stand up from out seat she was cleaning it all up and fixing the rest of the cake so we could do the cake cutting! Thank you Johanna No tears were shed because of you!

(I posted this review on Yelp as well...)Johanna was referred to us by a friend of ours in Salem. I'm originally from Portland and I live in LA now, but we decided to get married in my home town. Johanna was excellent from day one. She was able to take both of our religious backgrounds (Catholic and Jewish) and combine them into one seamless ceremony. Best of all, she really made it personal and specific to us. Many of our guests loved the ceremony and several of our friends asked for copies of it because it was so sincere and true.Johanna was also very professional and organized the whole way and it was easy to work with her despite the long distance wedding planning. Johanna was nothing but professional for our wedding. She was able to meet with us several times and always helped us feel at ease as we discussed the details of our wedding. The ceremony went off well and I kept getting many compliments on how the words of our ceremony fit us well.......meaning Johanna chose the right words to say after only knowing us a short time.She did an amazing job and I would recommend her to any bride looking for a great officiant who can make her wedding day extra special.

Johanna provided us with an amazingly beautiful ceremony. She was professional from our first contact through the end of our ceremony. She incorporated everything we wanted into the ceremony, and worked exceptionally well with our "wedding coordinator". We were so happy with the service and professionalism she provided for us.

I can not say enough nice things about Johanna - we had a very simple ceremony - eloped, so no family or friends were present. I was not expecting the thoughtful ceremony she put together and gave us a lovely copy of it afterwards. She was great! I highly recommend her.

She is pretty much amazing!! Was on time and had a great personality. She willingly made the treck down to cape mears lighthouse (twice) and put up with my obnoxious wedding party (groomsmen). The best!

Joanna was the easiest of all my wedding vendors to work with. She designed the perfect ceremony for my husband and I. She was very easy to work with and get ahold of when I needed to. She conducted our wedding rehersal like a pro making it quick and easy for the attendants to understand. She is well worth the money she charges and then some!

Johanna was so helpful the day of the wedding, which was a little chaotic due to the rain, but she was there 100 percent to help with set up and preparation. My wedding location was almost a nightmare. When we booked the location it was with a wonderful wedding coordinator that was part of the location fee, however she left and so did the service. My wedding was June 20th, 2009 and it rainned. My outdoor service suddenly became an indoor one. The first Person I saw as Johanna. She was waiting for me even through she wasn't suppose to be there until 6. She helped unload my car (which the location was suppose to do) listen while I told the caturing staff what I wanted done with the flowers and candels then took the box of sand ceramony items and our rememberance candle and told me get ready I can handle this. She set up chairs, arranged the front for us, ordered everyone around and left both myself and my maid of honour to get ready and not worry. I truely belive that she saved my wedding.While none of this was in her contract, nor was it asked of her, she went above and beyond. She gave us a shadow box for our handfasting cords and a wonderful book with our vows in it (the same one she used during our service).During the month before our wedding I would tell her I think I want this and she would add it to the service, she was great and putting me a ease and making me feel like I was the only bride she had to work with. If you want someone who truely loves what she does, and is willing to go to any lengh to give you your dreams that you should look no further. You have found the best.Denise & Roger Lancaster
