Talk about easy! I was really worried that the rentals and linens would be the hardest part but I was WRONG! It was fun and so much more easy to set a sample table and they looked awesome! I ordered choc brown linens, light green sashes and all my centerpieces. They were the best priced and by far the best bang for your buck! We rented chocolate brown tablecloths for our wedding in Dallas, Oregon from Barclay Event Rentals. The price was right, the linens were exactly what we wanted, and the service was perfect. Great local events rental company!

We got all of our glasses, tables, chairs, and linens through Barclays. We were happy with all of it! It came in great condition! It was also fun going in and having them set a sample table for us. I am a very visual person and it helped a lot with visualizing what the whole thing would look like. They were also very patient with us as we tried making our decisions. They always responded to our emails quickly and were always very informative!

We had a great experience with Barclay Event Rentals. Since I already knew what we needed to "fill in" or complete the decor for the reception hall, I was able to arrange everything via email. We picked up the rentals ourselves the day before the wedding and dropped them off the Monday following. It was a super smooth process and really quite affordable, considering what you can pay for rentals! I'd highly recommend this company!

I chose Barclay Event Rentals for the linens for my wedding 4-16-11. They had a great selection of linens and when they didn't have a color I wanted in stock, they ordered it for my event! They delivered the day before my event and even set up the pipe and drape for me. I highly recommend using them!

They are amazing. I came into their store 10 days before the wedding. I needed 25 table linens (long story about what happened to the venue provided linens). Linda, Robyn and Jen were so helpful. They not only help me select the color and fabric of the linens I needed, but they set up a couple of tables so that I could see exactly how things would look. After talking with them about my theme and the venue room decor, they suggested that I might want to alternate tables with 2 different colored linens (copper and terra cotta) Their eye for detail and style were invaluable and the reception venue looked amazing!!! The day before the wedding I broke 2 glass rose bowls and needed to replace them, Barclay's had them in stock and it was cheaper than buying them!!! They have so much to choose from and their prices are so very reasonable.I also needed a few other last minute items and they were all in stock and ready to go!!! The reception venue looked great and I could not have done it without Linda, Robyn and Jen's eye for detail and style advice!!!

So, Barclay was awesome! I loved their variety! One thing I especially love is the setup of tables in their office. We were setting up everything ourselves and I got a few great ideas from their showroom a few days before our wedding. Barclay was fantastic. We had chosen the wrong color of eggplant and when I went to pick it up, realized we had made a mistake. Even though we couldn't get the exact color of eggplant because you have to have the order in 10 days in advance, completely reasonable, they were able to swap it out for a burnt orange that worked with the brown for our fall wedding even better! I was so happy that we made the mistake, because the orange and brown together really made our reception tent pop with color!

yes, the have the cheapest plates in town but poor customer service. when i was there to place an order another customer was calling and complaining that the order was wrong... the sales rep then started complaining about her customer to me!!! That is so unprofessional. The only reason I ordered the plates was cause they were the cheapest and I figured it was hard to mess up an order of plates. But when the plates were not even used (due to a mix up) the sales rep was not willing to discuss even a partial reimbursement. Unfortunately there arent many options in PDX for rentals but I wouldnt recommend them.

We rented tables, chairs, linens and table clothes for my wedding reception. They were always friendly on the phone and easy to work with. When it came to delivery they just came and dropped everything off. We were under the impression since they were the ones who made a diagram for where everything should go, that they would set them up. Instead my husband and his groomsmen the night before had to set up 35 tables and 375 chairs. We also received a white tent that was extremely dirty and unattractive. Some tables had exposed wood and slivers.

Finding a event rental company was the most difficult task I came across when planning my wedding. I had a spring wedding, and wanted to bring the outside indoors. My vision was to have standing shepherds hooks with metal lanterns hanging from them. It seemed simple, but was hard to find. Jenn at Barclay was so helpful. She special ordered the items they didn't have that I was looking for making the beautiful picture I had in my head come to life. They were flexible as well, allowing me to borrow my different lanterns to take candle shopping with me. I can't say enough high praises about Jenn and Barclay Event Rentals!!

I was referred to Barclay by an event coordinator who said their prices were highly competitive. She was correct and I was pleased with their selection of linens and wedding decor. What was a huge disappointment was their complete lack of responsiveness. I would call their business and be promised a call back and nothing would happen. I sent emails that were never answered. I asked for assurances about delivery times and was told they could not guarantee a specific delivery time. I had been puzzled about why the wedding coordinator for Gray Gables did not work with them when they were so close. I found out why.

I loved working with Barclay rentals. I went into thier store thinking I wanted one thing and changed my mind right when I walked through the door. They had such pretty things on display. I had to have the Crystal trees with the colored uplighting. Their products made my venue the best I have ever seen. Linda at Barclays was willing to let me bring in my decorations and set up a table in her shop so that when the time comes I knew what my tables would look like.....it was also beneficail so that my coordinator had a photo from that time to help them set it up on the day of. Communication with barclays was always easy......I choose emails as my way to communicate with them and I always got fast, friendly and knowledgable responses. They did all the delivery, setup and pickup for me! I found thier prices to be lower than competitors.....and I liked their willingness to give suggestions. I would use Barclays again if ever in need of rentals!

Barclay Event Rentals really made my wedding look perfect! We had the ceremony and reception at a hotel so I was afraid that it would look like a hotel! With the help of the Barclay team everything looked amazing. The chair covers made the hotel chairs look stunning and as soon as I walked into the reception site - I was stunned! The crushed linen they recommended along with the plate charges made the room look better than I could have imagined. The team was great with suggestions and I would recommend them to anyone getting married!

I had some tough times with this company. They were fulfilling a special order for me and would have liked to have been more informed about the progress or even if the order was possible so that I could plan for something else. The quality was great and prices were the best I could find around the Portland area. One thing that made me very sad was the some of the linen showed up unpressed. It looked really tacky to see fold lines right when people walked into my venue.

Great prices and very flexible. It is a family run business and they treat like you are part of it when you work with them. Any time you have a question they are right there to help you out and give you any suggestions you might need to make your day the best it can be!

We needed a wedding arch last minute and they were the only place to have one left. They were very friendly and let us have it a few days before the wedding to get it ready (decorated, etc). Plus, they only charged us $25!

I wasn't wowed by the service at Barclay. It was always hard to find someone because they were usually working the warehouse and the sales desk. Their display area wasn't very exciting either-it's a good thing I knew what I wanted and didn't have to get inspiration there. They were very flexible about pick and up and delivery times and were able to refer me to another place to find the polka dot table cloth I had to have. I'm pretty sure Barclay is actually in Clackamas...not in Portland.
