Hiring Christie at Bridal Blush was the absolute best decision and investment we made during our wedding planning process. Her level of professionalism, responsiveness and creativity just blew me away from the first day we met until after our wedding (yes, after). We met with several planners before deciding on Bridal Blush. I felt that their pricing was incredibly fair for all the services that were included and for their level of flexibility and experience. I cannot begin to do Christie justice in this tiny review box, I could really go on and on. What I will say what stood out to me the most was Christie's intuitive nature. She was able to understand our vision (even when we didn't have one yet) and come up with tons of creative ideas to support that vision. She was never pushy, but always offered an opinion when we were in need of one and made me feel confident about whatever decision we were making. Our wedding was beyond any dream I could ever conjure up myself. Truly, the best night of our lives. The entire week before the wedding, I spent with my family that was visiting from out of town. I really was not doing anything wedding related besides facials and manicures. The day of my wedding I actually went for a run, went out to breakfast with my family and even did a little shopping. Seriously that is how calm I was and that is how organized the event was. And I can not take any credit for that - I really do owe that all to Christie.

I hired Susan Duyck for "month of" services for my daughter's wedding. Susan was absolutely wonderful. She was very professional and was very organized. I do not even want to think about what the day would have been like without her! I live out of state and my daughter was not interested in very many of the details. Susan was truly a lifesaver! Everything went very smoothly and on time. Many of the guests commented on the great job she did and the priest was also very appreciative of her help! I would highly recommend Susan at Blush Bridal for planning the perfect wedding!

I worked with Susan at Blush and she was amazing. She had everything organized for both the rehearsal and the wedding day. She made it so that my mom and I could just relax in the morning knowing that all of the little details would be taken care of. I can't imagine planning a wedding without her.

We used Blush for Day of Coordination - which is really Month of Coordination now. Christie, our wedding coordinator was AMAZING. She was worth her weight in gold and in the end my husband and I thought she was a steal for how much she costed. Really appreciated Blush taking over all the little details the month before the wedding so that we and our families could enjoy every moment! Would recommend them in a heartbeat and even left our coordinator a tip. She really deserved it.

Having Amy Nuttman work on our wedding was the best decision I ever made. She was amazing! She was able to anticipate all of our needs, stay extremely organized, handle pre-wedding events, always keep me calm and relaxed, and most importantly she always made sure I was stress free. She recommends fantastic vendors and all of them exceeded my expectations. She made such an impression on my friends, family and guests-she is a true professional. If you aren't sure who to hire, you need to evaluate what is truly important to you. Susan Duyck was our day-of coordinator. She and her assistant, Annmarie, were wonderful. My husband (then fiance) and I were doing all the planning for our wedding up to the day of the rehearsal. Once we saw Susan the day before the wedding we handed everything to her and we were so worry free to enjoy our rehearsal and wedding. She totally understood how we wanted things done, and she was on top of things. It was a huge relieve to have such responsive persons by our side. They were on top of things making everything so smooth, in such a personable way. Several of our guests mentioned to us how kind and nice they were to everybody. At the beginning of our wedding planning process we were not sure about hiring a wedding coordinator, but it was totally worth it.

She had great ideas and helpful hints beforehand and on the day of I was so thankful to have her. Everyone was thankful to have her. Susan Duyck was just absolutely wonderful to work with and i couldn't recommend or thank her more for what she has done to make our wedding a dream come true! I had looked around at many wedding coordination packages in Portland and met with numerous different coordinators. From my perspective, you get so much more value and service with Blush's month of package, compared to the "day of packages" that are comparable in price with other planners. Susan stood out from the others because Susan listens very well, seems to really genuine care about all the details and she ask those questions you just haven't thought of. Its clear she has so many years of experience in the industry and has close relationships with many vendors in the area. My first meeting with her was very valuable, as she was already giving me recommendations and suggestions that i hadn't thought of. We hired Susan for the "month of package." She went over and beyond what was expected of her, to help with some last minute rentals, flower petal pick ups, etc. On our rehearsal she took all of our decorations so we didn't have to worry about getting them delivered on the day of. On the day of, She arrived extremely early to ensure our decorations were in place exactly as i had envisioned them. Her professionalism and experience working with the vendors was apparent as she made certain everyone was clear on timing and important details. She has a relaxing presence that helps alleviate all the stress. Everyone is still RAVING about how smooth, effortless, classy and idyllic our wedding was, just like a fairytail! - thanks to Susan, everything was just PERFECT!

Amy at Blush Bridal was so incredible. You have found your wedding planner. Seriously, stop looking, you've found her! :) She helped me find an awesome DJ, amazing photographer, Cake Bakery, and several other things. She has a list of what you should have done at all stages of planning which was extremely helpful and better than any other lists I had seen. It even includes what to do after the wedding part is over, which is helpful for us at this stage. She answered any call or email right away and never forgot to respond to any of my billion questions for her. She helped decorate the reception hall which was a huge blessing because I was not able to be there for it. Knowing she would be there set my mind at ease and I was able to relax. Our wedding went off without a hitch. We cannot think of anything that could have gone better. I'm sure this wouldn't have been the case if we did not have Amy as our planner. Planning a wedding with my mom living 2000 miles away was one of the most intimidating tasks I have ever taken on. With in weeks of being engaged I contacted Blush Bridal and Erin, Amy and Susan made me feel completely at ease. They guided me every step of the way and and embraced every idea I threw at them. They provided excellent vendor recommendations and were very accommodating to all of our requests and needs. Amy especially partnered with every single vendor and created a relationship that made communication feel effortless. They answered all of our questions in a super timely manner. They were extremely flexible and able to meet where ever and when ever was best for us. They made us feel special and not that we were just another one of many clients. Blush saved us a lot of time and made making decisions flawless and tailored everything to our needs. I cannot thank them enough for how wonderful it was to know that when our guests walked into the reception that everything would be taken care of and perfect. Hiring Amy at Blush Bridal was the best decision we made when we were planning our daughter's wedding. Wow -- she is really on top of things, knows lots of Portland-area vendors, gave us so much information at every stage of the planning; and, on the wedding day itself, she took care of everything.! I cannot say enough great things about Amy and Blush Bridal! She was absolutely amazing and made my wedding day everything I wanted! I first contacted Amy not too long ago when I had what I thought was going to be a big challenge for her: Plan a wedding in two months while I (the bride) live 2000 miles away. Amy didn't even blink, what I thought was going to be a nightmare having to plan a wedding in 2 months from across the country turned out to be a piece of cake with Amy behind the wheel. After day 4 of hiring Amy she was already worth every cent and more. She listened to me, gave advice, kept me on track, and took care of all the details. She has an immense amount of knowledge and great relationships with vendors. I never felt uneasy or uncomfortable and always felt like I was in good hands. Because the vendors she referred said such great things about her as well, I knew I had made the right decision. The best thing about Amy was that she took all the stress and frustration that can build up when planning a big event so I never loss any sleep. She was always there and was so helpful to me and my family. She worked very well with everyone and was always professional and detail oriented. She went out of her way to make sure everything was right...working through holidays and going to meetings with vendors knowing I couldn't since I lived so far away. Amy was so flexible and didn't push us to do anything we didn't feel comfortable doing. In some ways we went against a lot of the traditions that take place in the ceremony and reception, Amy never fought us she was flexible and happy to do whatever made us feel comfortable. The day of my wedding everything was taken care of so neither I or a family member had to run around and make sure vendors were where they should be and flowers had arrived etc. I was able to sleep in and take my time getting ready which in the long run allowed me to enjoy the day more and spend more time with friends and family. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful and elegant the night was and they would ask how did you do this all in 2 months? My answer was "Amy!" She made the night seamless and effortless on my part and I can't thank her enough. In the end I had the exact wedding I wanted and envisioned. I married was able to spend quality time with my family and friends and I got to meet and work with a really sweet and fun-loving planner!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Blush! We were initially against having a day of coordinator and then the more and more I heard from wedding vendors (not planners but DJ’s, florists, on site planners, catering folks) how important having a day of planner was I decided it was worth investigating. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made! I had emailed a few different planners and was quite impressed with Amy’s responsiveness. I think it’s important that your personality clicks with your coordinator and although I had several appointments lined up, I met Amy first, signed a contract right away and cancelled all other appointments. She is just wonderful! We very much didn’t want to make our family and friends work – as many of them traveled quite far to be with us – we wanted everyone to be able to relax and have fun the weekend of the wedding. We had a somewhat complicated event – two different locations, a ton of decorations and details. It was important to us that our family, friends and ourselves enjoyed the day instead of setting up chairs or decorations or coordinating vendors…how unromantic on your wedding day! Initially I was kind of against spending the money but then once I decided to make the decision to hire Blush it was like all my stress evaporated. I knew I could count on them to pull it together and boy did they ever! Amy and her team made everything come together so seamlessly and magically. I had a lot of little things I needed taken care of and I put a lot on their shoulders…at one point my new husband leaned over to me and said “we aren’t paying them enough”. The one bit of advice I got from a lot of past brides – plan plan plan and then let it all go on the day of your wedding. I was able to let go and Blush did the rest. They did an amazing job and our entire day was magical and enchanting not only for ourselves but also for our friends and family. Email Blush immediately – they are a great team!!

Our daughter was married recently in suburban Portland Oregon. Amy Nuttman of Blush Bridal was our wedding consultant/planner. What a perfect choice for us as we live in Montana and our daughter is a busy law student in Portland, making wedding planning somewhat of a challenge. Amy helped us every step of the way with professionalism, availability, flexibility, excellent suggestions for vendors, and best of all a good sense of humor ! The actual wedding went off without a hitch--a seamless, lovely, lively, fun and of course very memorable evening for us all, thanks to Amy's "behind the scenes" efforts to make it perfect. To give you an example of her "can-do" attitude, she even brought a infant table chair from her home for one of our young guests! We recommend her unequivocally!

I found Amy from Blush Bridal because a friend gave me a gift certificate that she won at a Make-A-Wish auction event. Amy donated 5 hours of wedding planning for a great cause and I was immediately impressed. After meeting Amy for the first time, I knew she would be great to work with and hired her for the Month of Package. Amy always listened to my ideas and cost concerns and was able to put my vision together for what I wanted my wedding to be. I really appreciated that she always responded to my emails within 24 hours no matter how trivial my question was. She was very responsive and always got an answer for me. On the wedding day, Amy had everything organized and the day went smoothly. I really appreciated someone else putting together a hour by hour timeline and communicating to all the vendors. I had nothing to worry about that day. Amy's assistant Jennifer was also wonderful. She even helped us carry everything up to our hotel room after the reception was over. It was great to have that extra hand at the end of a long day. I never thought I needed a wedding consultant but I would never have been able to put together a flawless day and have a great time. I know it's been said ad infinitum, but it really is true. Hiring Amy from Blush Bridal was the best decision that I made about my wedding, hands down. I opted for the premium package as my job is very demanding and my mother was unable to assist as were my friends, due to their obligations and responsibilities. I hadn't a clue about where to begin or really what was involved. I just knew I wanted a wedding that would be warm and welcoming and basically a fun party with all the people we loved. I haven't lived in Portland very long so my knowledge of who did what for how much was minimal at best. I found Blush Bridal through an internet search and called for an appointment. At our first meeting I was flustered because I was totally clueless but Amy set me immediately at ease. When I left I knew I wanted Amy on my "team" to help me with my big day. She immediately proved my decision to be the correct one. I had a year and a half to plan and she was involved and on top of things immediately. We got my vendors all lined up quickly - and she was so amazingly on-target about supplying a list of vendors for me to interview that "got me". We amassed a fabulous group of vendors for my wedding and each and every one of them told me that I had one fabulous wedding planner leading the charge. They all spoke highly of her ability to work with them and her coordination skills are well known in the industry and highly respected. I learned it's really a small tight group of wedding vendors in the Portland area and Amy is one of the most respected in the industry. I had one little bump in the planning when I realized that the photographer I originally selected as our photographer was not the right one for us. The photographer was an amazing professional but just not the one for us. Amy was great in helping me correct that situation leaving all egos intact. Did I already mention what a consumate professional she was? And then she scurried to find the photographer that was perfect for us. Happiness all around! As the wedding approached, Amy managed to keep me on track and focused on the important things big and small. We had a medium sized wedding at a vineyard with over half the guests from around the world so the coordination involved was intense as we had events the entire weekend that Amy helped design and coordinate as well. So we not only had a wedding ceremony and reception but a bride's lunch, groom's golf outing, cocktail party, wine tasting outing and an after party. As the clock ticked down I thought I would freak out but amazingly I was able to enjoy my friends and family and let Amy handle all the details. It was everything I ever dreamed it would be - and yes, all the guests are still talking about it and how it was the most beautiful, classy, elegant yet fun wedding they had ever been to... and you know, that's when it hit me. Amy asked me that first day what I wanted my wedding to be and I remember I said, "I want it to be a fun party but classy and elegant if that's possible." And it was, thanks to Amy. I'll quit rambling and waxing poetically about Amy now but I wanted to end it with how much Amy grew to mean to me personally. She became more like a sister with a streak of mother in her (to corral my spending and grandiose ideas) while maintaining her professional edge. An unbeatable combination that you want on your team as you plan the day of your dreams.

My fiance and I were on the fence about hiring a wedding consultant as we assumed it was a luxury reserved for the rich and famous.
