It was an incredible pleasure to have such an amazing and professional individual capturing one of life's most precious occasions! Katie's interaction with the members of the bridal party and our families was one of ease and fun. All I heard after all the pictures were taken were comments about how awesome it was to work with her. It takes a person of great patience and a healthy sense of humor to work with a group of groomsmen like the lively bunch accompanying our wedding. To have these guys comment about how fun it was to take wedding pictures (honestly, guys enjoying taking pictures?!) speaks volumes about Katie's personality and talent as one of Portland's finest photographers. As for the bride, I have rarely put such trust in an individual as I did with Katie. It was so nice to know that on a day that has the potential to be overwhelming and chaotic I was able to sit back, relax, and really enjoy the day and our guests. Our pictures turned out more lovely than I could have ever imagined. It is true that we will always have the memories of our wedding in our minds. However, Katie's photography gave us something tangible that we can share with everyone, whether or not they were present at the wedding, each moment beautifully frozen in time, capable of transporting all onlookers back to an extraordinary day.
