Knights of Columbus

I talked to Barb in November to reserved the location for July. I asked all the right questions....What did the price include, what will they provide, what I need to provide etc. I was only allowed to see the venue twice before the event. She failed to tell me about a Banquet License (or something like that), this allows me to serve alcohol. This was a HUGE dent in plans, considering I found this out that NIGHT of my event. Also, she promised that all unused beer (when purchased through them) they would buy back from us, and their bar would be open to my guests only. Not only did they keep my unused beer, but they didn't pay me for it and we had people at the bar that were not my guests "crashing" my party. There were so many other things that went wrong. She said one thing and then it ended up being another. I spend more money than I needed too because of Barb. Totally not professional or organized. When I confronted her with all the issues she denied telling/promising me anything and refused to compensate me for any wrong doing. I do not recommend.
