I think I went to Michaels almost every week during the three months leading up to our wedding. They have a great 40% off coupon that I used each week off one item which really helped. We made our own invitations and wedding programs and Michaels helped save us a lot of money that we would have spent hiring a professional. Besides, doing it ourselves made us feel more invested in the wedding process and gave a more personal approach to our guests. Michaels had friendly service and many products to choose from. My only real interaction with Michael's workers were at the check-out counted or occassionally when I asked for the location of an item, but like I said, they were always friendly. If you are going for the DIY wedding, I'd definitely recommend Michaels and to keep a look out for the 40% off coupon.

Michaels was a great place to find all the favors and invites needing for my wedding. I wanted to personalize my favors and do something small, and was able to find everything there. I was also able to do personalized touches on my special invitations to parents, bridal party, etc..
