First off: LIFETIME WARRANTY. Especially for the engagement ring: priceless, truly. My ring is beautiful and I know it will always be taken care of. Everyone is very kind and helpful, we never felt like we were being talked into anything and they were always respectful of what we wanted and the budget we were working with. Great folks.

Very good customer service. They have great ring selection. Better to buy diamond and have them set it. It was a bit hard to get a specific price quote for a specific diamond.

My fiance and I went into Shane Co. because we had heard some great things about what they can do. As we walked in we stood around for about 5 minutes (there were only a couple people in the store (maybe 6 people) and quite a few associate standing around talking) before my fiance asked if someone could help us. The women rolled her eyes at us as she came over, she asked our budget and sighed (it was only $1,000) as she pushed us onto another associate who was already helping another couple. Again we stood around waiting for someone to help us. When the second associate finally came over she spent two minutes with us asked us what we wanted then walked away to help the other couple. When she finally came back (five or so minutes) she slapped three rings down that didn't come close to what we had described. I wanted diamonds down the band and a single stone, she brought a three stone (way out of our budget) with a plain band. She didn't even wait to show us the bands she brought, just threw them down and walked back to the other couple. When we finally got her attention for more than a couple seconds we asked the possibility of a custom band using two diamonds that I own. She again sighed at the thought, and told us that it wasn't possible and took the rings she had brought away. After this we were so tired of this place we left and decided to check out Fred Meyer Jeweler instead. We were blown away by the service and went back for our wedding bands as well.

The sales department is amazing 5/5! The customer service department is hit or miss. It takes quite a while if you need a ring resized and we had to be pushy to get any results. Also, my band broke on my ring due to sizing the ring improperly. Never got an apology and at first they wanted me to wait 3 more weeks to get it fixed.

After searching high and low for the just right diamond at a reasonable price I stumbled upon ShaneCo. They had the best service and prices of all the jewelers we had visited. Not only that, but they didn't charge a fee to bring in a diamond for you to look at! Both my husband and I were blown away by their flexibility and kindness.

Although the cost to set our diamond was a little steep since we brought in the diamond, we were very pleased with the service, selection, and professionalism. As the groom, I was very impressed with the flexibility in customizing the ring as well.
