So Many Moments

So Many Moments did a simply outstanding job at our wedding. After several months of showing our wedding pics to friends and family, we have received many compliments of the quality and professionalism of our photos. Many of our friends wished they had the opportunity to work with Matt and Sam for their wedding! They made things so smooth and easy and have a speical way of truly capturing special moments throughout the day. I highly recommend them to any couple or anyone in general looking for quality, fun and professional photos.

Samantha & Matt are such AMAZING photographers! They were super helpful, creative, & fun to be around & to have capture memories of our big day. They were truely the BEST hired staff at our wedding & I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a great photography experience for special occasions.

Samantha was amazing. We of course first fell in love with the portfolio on her website, and then she was extremely flexible in putting together a package that worked for our budget. Samantha and Matt are great because they are both very professional when it comes to planning, reliability, and efficiency on the big day, but they're also super fun people to be around and kept the energy up during our formal photo shoots. Also, the client gets all of the photo files on archival grade DVD (in a beautiful keepsake DVD case!) and has rights to reprint without any fees to So Many Moments. We loved having our photography done by Samantha and Matt, would recommend them to anyone, and have a beautiful set of photos we will treasure forever!

I've always loved Samantha's work, and getting married gave me the chance to finally be featured in some of it. On the morning of my wedding, it began to snow on Mount Hood; our wedding was at Timberline Lodge. While one of my friends was frantically calling everyone who didn't have 4WD to get up there (vendors included), Samantha casually strolled into the room and started snapping pictures. Big sigh of relief. She and Matt are fun to work with; they managed to get THE SHOT time and time again, without anyone really noticing them working. Once I got my pictures back, my jaw just dropped. I expected there to be a few shots that I would really love, not a whole disc of perfect, beautiful, dramatic shots. Highly, highly, recommend them.

Photography is one of the most important elements of your day. You photos will impact how you remember your day. So Many Moments provides amazing photos at an incredible value (including rights to your photos which will allow you to print them whenever and whereever you want without paying any additional money to So Many Moments--this is an incredible value!). We loved Samantha's work before we met her, but fell in love with her when we met her. She's a very comfortable and happy person to spend time with, which is important since you'll be spending the better part of your day with your photographer. We hired Samantha to do our engagement photos. We knew the artistic quality of the photos would be great, but because we don't consider ourselves photogenic, we were pleasantly surprised that we actually loved the way we looked in many of the photos. It was then that we realized that our wedding photos would be amazing...and Samantha did not disappoint us. Samathan and Matt documented our perfect day fantasticly and even captured moments we didn't remember or didn't even know about it. And, not only did they make me and my husband look good, but they made everyone else look good too. Amazing! Throughout the wedding, Matt and Samantha magically blended into the scenery but were able to catch the most amazing shots, including great shots of the audience enjoying the ceremony. Of the over 1700 photos Matt and SAmanatha gave us, we absolutely loved overed 400 of them. The hardest part is going to be pairing that number down to a manageable amount to include in our album. It's a really great problem to have!! One other thing, Samantha is incredible about detailed and quick responses. I'm admittedly anal-retentive and Samantha did great answering my questions and helping me plan things out to my heart's content. I had the utmost confidence in her. I'd hire So Many Moments in flash if I had it to do over again!

I found So Many Moments online and thought that for always providing two photographers on the big day (so important!), they offered a very fair price compared to others I had looked at. We couldn't have loved the service and photos we got from So Many Moments any more! Samantha and Matt were professional, and even more importantly to us, so much fun! They really seemed to be genuinely enjoying themselves while capturing our wedding, and that was an unexpected bonus. We had a blast posing for photos, and they also captured SO MANY great, candid, and beautifully composed shots. I highly recommend So Many Moments to anyone getting married who likes to have fun, and cares about having beautiful, professional and artistic photos of your special day. 4 thumbs up!

I first found Samantha and Matt on Facebook. There was an amazing photo in an ad column that I had to look and see more (and I am so happy that I did). The photographers we were looking at using for our wedding before finding Smatt Photography had amazing portfolios and the price-tag to prove it. I had my fiance call the three different photographers that we were interested in and after just 1 phone conversation our minds were made up. We met up with Sam and Matt and just had a great feeling about them and what they could capture on our big day. The price was amazing for the services that we received. After our meeting it was a done deal. Sam was great at communicating with us about our must have pictures and making sure the had the correct time and location for the big day. The photos they took truly was a journal of the day. There were moments captured that I didn't even know happened... and they all took my breath away. All of our family and friends have commented on how beautiful not just the wedding was, but the how the photos turned out. Sam and Matt blend in very well!!! I never felt like I had a photographer as my shadow, but after looking at photos I know they were right behind me the whole day! They made me feel so comfortable and we were able to cut loose and just be normal in front of the camera. There is a great balance of candid shots, and of course "the artsy" ones using cool lenses. They emailed us just a few pictures the very next day... just a few that they were excited about, and posted a whole library of photos to our facebook page. It was a great way to keep me calm until they were done with all of them. All in all we couldn't be happier with our choice in photography for our big day. They made sure to get all of the shots we asked for (and hundreds more). Thank you Sam and Matt! You will always have referrals from us.

We met with about 5 photographers before Sam. After Sam...no more interviews, phew!! She was easy to contact and converse with by e-mail, readily available on any given weekend that we might be in town and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She is a person that will give honest feed back and let you know if you're being too cheeseball or "cliche" or univentive. She has so much creativity, great smile and excitement for you on your day. Matt was also great the day of, so laid back but really got beautiful shots. Our pictures our AMAZING, CRAZY AWESOME. With how much thought and detail a bride puts into the wedding, you're afraid it will go unnoticed. Not with Sam, when we got our pictures back I was so delighted to see the pictures of the details I planned or worked on for so long. She gets it. Great price and worth every penny. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting unique, gorgeous photos that make a statement and reflect your personality! Thanks so much Sam and Matt!

It was an absolute joy having Samantha and Matt photograph our wedding! They are a great team and captured every moment beautifully. I feel very fortunate that we were able to book them with such short notice. Every thing So Many Moments advertises is true. Samantha and Matt work together to capture the candid, most beautiful moments of a wedding, without being in the way. I was very nervous about having my photo taken...but Samantha made sure I didnt even realize when they were taking pictures! the result was photos that are beautiful, natural, and with sincere emotion. They are two genuinely nice people and you can rest assured that they will be courteous and respectful at your wedding, and they really do want to make sure that the bride is happy!

I LOVE Sam and Matt. If you ask any of my friends, I'm meticulous and ALWAYS a perfectionist-- the worst nightmare for any wedding vendor. With Sam and Matt, I didn't have to worry about a thing. The second they showed up to take pictures, they put me at ease and I was able to relax and let them do what they love-- capture all of my wedding details perfectly. I was at a loss for words when I saw the final results and my album, absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend them for any photography needs-- I WILL be hiring them again, and forever. Sam and Matt did an awesome job photographing our wedding in December in Florida. They were very unobtrusive, excited, and a genuine pleasure to work with. The photographs came out beautifully, and I've received many compliments. My album is just the right mixture of posed shots and candid shots. I highly recommend.

Where can I begin? From the day I met Samantha & Matt, it was love at first sight, just like with my husband! I followed that instinct & decided to book them for our wedding immediately (along with my grooms best friend & his new fiance!). On the day of the wedding, Matt first met with the groomsmen & Sam with myself + my family & bridal party. Samantha was the first person to arrive at the B&B, before any of my girls. As soon as she showed up, all of my jitters & nerves escaped me & the SMILES ***laughter*** & memories started. Sam started snapping away, asking for my must have shots (like rings, shoes, makeup) & then moving things about the room...and outside...to get the perfect shots. She rode with me to my ceremony. Myself, dad, flower girl, driver...and Sam. Couldnt have been better. Even after the REST of the bridal party was 20 minutes late (she took a pic to prove it), she still had me calm. Come to think of it, she would make a great day-of-wedding assistant too! I had only paid for 6 hours of shooting on the day of the wedding, so 2 hours before my reception was over they were supposed to leave. Luckily, they agreed to stay longer for a minimal fee. Saved! Less than 2 months after my wedding, I recieved ALL of my wedding photos on DVD (+ the retouched ones) AND my beautiful 30 page album. The photos are breathtaking & I get so many compliments on the album. It is truly a keepsake. Since the wedding, I have booked So Many Moments for maternity photos (my sister-in-law is expecting) & also for a family portait once the new additions are born! I could not have asked for a better couple to be with us on our wedding day. They were like guests at our wedding, who worked their TAILS OFF the whole time!

So Many Moments is AMAZING!! So Many Moments was more than willing to take on the task of photographing our non-traditional wedding. Samantha took some incredible pictures of our entire family for our "engagement shoot" - she had a vision for them and they are so unique. We will treasure them forever. As for the wedding, there just aren't words to describe how happy we are with our photos!! Every moment and feeling was captured. They are more than I ever imagined they could be. I hardly noticed they were there but they didn't miss a thing! Samantha was prepared for anything and was willing to "go with the flow". Even a minor equipment glitch didn't stop So Many Moments - they had a solution before I even knew there was a problem. Instead of approaching me on my wedding day with "we have a problem", they approached me with "we have a small setback and this is what we are doing to fix it". So Many Moments was prepared for everything!! Not one single second of our wedding suffered. It's been 4 months since our wedding and even now, when I look back at the photos, I remember how I felt at that exact moment - the first dance, the first bite of cake... everything. We have more than pictures - we have bottled-up emotions that we can look back at whenever we want. Samantha got the digital images to us super fast. She is up for ANYTHING and state lines don't stop her, either - she travelled all the way to Florida from Portland, OR for our wedding and we are so very glad she did!!!!

My husband and I couldn't have been happier with Sam and Matt!! Their attention to detail and their photography style is in my opinion some of the best I have ever seen. I was truly amazed with the turnout of our photos. One of the most important things that my husband and I wanted was to be able to actually spend time at our wedding and not being pulled every which way for pictures, and it was like they weren't even there, yet they caught the most precious moments!! They are incredibly talented and I would recommended So Many Moments to anyone that is getting married =)

What can I possibly say about this fantastic team!? Samantha and Matt are genius. I never thought I could be so pleased with my wedding photography (and I haven't even seen all the photos)! To me there is nothing better than having two photographers to capture your wedding. You get different styles, different angles and best of all, you have two people to document your day, ensuring that you don't miss a thing! Sam and Matt are super professional and almost hands off in a way. They let the day unfold with minor involvement. they stood back and captured the day as it was meant to happen. We have to give a lot of credit to our venue, Mcmenamins Edgefield, they provide a photographers paradise with some really fantastic spots to shoot. Matt and Sam ate it up and got photos of us all over the venue with some incredible shots. They both have a different style, but manage to keep their visions on track with eachother. All the photos look cohesive and create a fantastic story. When I first saw a sample of the wedding photos, my heart fluttered. The photos were so stunning and so real. It was such a wonderful feeling. The few photos that I have shared with friends and family have gotten rave reviews. Smatt is so reasonable priced for the services they offer. They spent 6 hours with us, created a gorgeous coffee table book and give us access to all the digital prints. Smatt does exceptional work and I promise you won't be disappointed!

I have never been so happy as I have with Smatt Photography! The photos turned out amazing and the photographers, Matt and Sam, were SO personable and accommodating. My mother just passed away, and these photos are the most current memories I have. THANK YOU SO MUCH to Matt and Sam! I highly recommend them!!

I am so happy that Sam and Matt could be apart of our wedding day and capture every moment. They both are very creative, professional, and flexible. The photo albums that we got with our package were outstanding! Every member of our immediate family had to have one; even ourselves. With both Sam and Matt together they were able to get pictures of everyone and everything without being in the way. They even did all our photos for our engagement party and save-the-dates. There is nothing they cannot do! They made all my dreams come to reality and my husband was able to step out of his comfort zone and be his carefree self. We all had some much fun! We will cherish their friendship and our photos for the rest of our lives and I wouldn't change a thing. THEY ARE THE VERY BEST!! WHOO HOOO!!

Smatt Photography provided exceptional service at our wedding. My husband and I both enjoy their photo journalistic style. We received several compliments from guests after the wedding about how they never even noticed the photographer was there, yet at the end of the night every special moment was captured!

I contacted Samantha and Matt regarding photographing our wedding that was scheduled for the day after Thanksgiving in 2007! They were very helpful and friendly and were able to meet me on short notice (I now have two beautiful baby boys =). They put my nerves at ease and were accomodating with the style of photography I desired for my wedding. I never imagined how important the pictures would be to me until after the wedding was complete and the day was all a big blur in my memories. From the shots Sam and Matt took at our wedding, my husband and I are able to see the big picture of the day's events. They didn't miss a beat or an opportunity for a great photo (something my sister warned me of after she was married- her photographer didn't get a picture of her at her wedding with our 90 year old grandmother who flew down to attend even though she is afraid of flying). With their talented eyes, they provided the perfect blend of that 'in the moment' proffesional snapshot, catching our friends and family being themselves, as well as the posed pictures of the wedding party - the quality was amazing and they caught the family in the perfect angles with the sun setting behind us.
