Dear Kami, You are damn amazing! I'm not sure we could have pulled off such an awesome wedding without your help. Brie and I had been engaged for at least two years without much progress in our wedding preparations. Not even a date was set. After so much time, we decided a wedding planner was absolutely necessary to get the ball rolling. When we scoured for planners and found you, we knew you would fit our needs best. You didn't judge us on our tastes, our budget, or our uncertainty on what we wanted for our wedding. Instead, you helped guide through ideas and choices, and we wound up learning what we did picture for our special day. As the days, weeks, and months progressed, you helped us find and book all the little details we needed for our big day. You prioritized our tasks, and tactfully pestered us to get them done in good time. Whenever it was time to find a vendor, or decide on venue arrangements, you were very thorough in giving us the fine details so that we could make an informed decision. Whenever we had questions, you responded promptly. Whenever we had to work on a blank slate, you always had ideas and suggestions to keep us moving. Our wedding planning with you felt so smooth and easy, I can't imagine why it generally sounds so stressful and difficult for anyone else. When the wedding day finally came, you surprised us with how well you handled our guests and how well you worked with all our vendors. Our family and friends were very impressed with how the wedding turned out. There was not one hitch on our big day, and the only stress we felt was about handling the crying at the alter. We all had a blast! We may not know how much preparation or hard work you had to do to be so good at your job, but thank you so much for making our day! When we began the wedding process, to be honest, we thought that wedding coordinators were for extravagant weddings and definitely out of our budget. We were going for an earthy, rustic feel for our day and knowing how organized we were, we knew a coordinator was not necessary. We were so wrong! After we had picked a date and a venue, which were huge projects on their own, we quickly realized how complex the whole planning process was. We both had full-time jobs and we were going to school full-time and simply did not have the time for all the research, meetings with vendors, and planning. We realized the last thing we wanted was to become stressed over details along the way, or (realizing there was no way to make this happen on our own) we also did not want to make our family and friends work for us. Our dream was to have a wedding that we could all enjoy, stress-free. We met with Kami and instantly she calmed our nerves and we knew she was perfect for the job! She had so much experience and advice from working many weddings prior and she was so simply down-to-earth, we felt completely comfortable with her and we knew we could trust her. We booked her right away and from the start she exceeded our expectations. She was always willing to go over any questions we had. She answered our phone calls and emails promptly. At times I wondered how she was able to manage it all! She helped us stay on time and get things done early, without pushing, knowing that it would ease our stress later in the process. Weeks before the wedding she took over all communication with our photographer, DJ, caterers and other vendors, relieving us of having to pass along timelines to everyone. She met with us multiple times so we really got to know each other, and she truly understood our vision for the wedding. If she came across something she thought we would like while shopping on her own time, she would text us a picture of it- just to let us know! We knew she really cared about us and making our day perfect. And it was! Our guests ranted and raved about how wonderfully everything went. Our family and friends celebrated along with us, worry-free. Neither of us had to think about set-up of decorations, gathering people for photos or the ceremony, talking to the DJ or photographer to time the dances and bouquet toss and all those little moments, or clean up extra food and presents at the end of the night. Kami and her WedPortland crew took care of it all, behind the scenes. We don’t have the slightest doubt that it was entirely thanks to Kami that our wedding was everything we dreamed of. It could not have happened without her. From the very beginning of planning, to the day of the wedding, Kami relieved our stress and made everything come together beautifully. My husband and I agree that hiring WedPortland to help with our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. We started planning on our own, but quickly realized that we didn’t have the time or organizational skills to see things come together the way we wanted them too. As soon as we met Kami, we knew we were in very capable hands. She really took the time to understand our “vision,” and it showed, because our wedding was PERFECT! Kami was always available to help with vendor communication, which was a lifesaver for two people with full-time busy schedules such as ourselves. She kept us on track, on time, and on budget. After spending the prior evening in the emergency room, she showed up 110% and never even gave a hint that she was not feeling her best. The fact that she went out of her way to make sure we didn't have a clue speaks volumes for her professionalism and expectations of her work. We were confident that we had the perfect plan for our wedding and that the planning would be easy. We found a venue that provided everything we could possibly need- the catering, cake, linens, tables, and chairs. The day would be perfect, everything we had dreamed it would be. As we progressed through the planning process we realized that even with an all -inclusive venue there was still so much to consider, organize, and plan. Both of us have very full time jobs and little time to do all of the planning. We quickly realized we needed a coordinator and called WedPortland. Kami went above and beyond and to make our day special. She helped with invitations, created all of our table center pieces and décor, did numerous on-site visits with us, communicated with all of our vendors, designed our guest book, and much more. By the time the wedding arrived, we felt very ready and prepared so we could just relax and enjoy our day. Kami would be there for day of coordination and to make sure everything went smoothly. What could possibly go wrong? The morning of wedding Allison got the stomach flu and had to go to the Emergency Room! How could that even be possible? Kami pulled off the entire day single handedly. She was a Godsend and by far the best money we spent! She took care of every detail and made sure we got through the day. We would simply not have pulled off the wedding without Kami. We know there are many wedding coordinators out there, but Kami was the perfect wedding coordinator for us. Our wedding was perfect and not even the stomach flu could ruin the day!

Kami is amazing! Hiring her was hands down the best decision my husband and I made in the wedding planning process, because she took all our ideas and plans and made them into a cohesive, beautiful whole. There were so many things about Kami that impressed us including her friendliness, professionalism, and knowledge. She took very good notes during our meetings and conversations and executed everything on our wedding day exactly how I would have, if I had been able to do it myself. My husband was actually more stressed than I was and I’m usually the stressed-out one. It was wonderful to just relax and let the day unfold. I didn’t even have to think, which was good because I was in a total fog. Kami was there the whole day organizing things and making sure I was comfortable (she even went and found me some dinner rolls when my stomach hurt and I couldn’t eat my dinner). Our wedding turned out beautifully! We honestly couldn’t be happier.

Kat and Kami were incredible. I did a "day of plus" package and I was totally impressed. They worked with me on my schedule, they kept me organized, offered up great suggestions, had great contacts and made my day run super smooth. They worked with my budget and they completely exceeded my expectations. I was able to really enjoy my day and my guests without having to worry about the details. They took my vision of the wedding and made everything happen. I highly, highly recommend them.

"I was one of those brides who went into planning my ceremony hating almost everything about weddings! There was a huge reluctance for me to get caught up in the glitz and show that can be weddings but immediately after talking to Kami, I relaxed and realized I could have the event I hoped for. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! Kami executed everything to our exact desires from the moment we contacted her more than a year before the wedding, to our final departure with a carefully packed “honeymoon package” of food and cake. Throughout the entire experience, Kami always made herself available to me, and made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with. By the time all was said and done, she was practically a part of the family. She met with us several times to go over ideas and logistics, and provided the perfect balance of listening to our ideas and providing her experienced opinions. Kami helped me navigate the confusing world of contracts and vendors, and communicated with them throughout the process to make sure that everyone knew where to be on the big day. This made the experience for me and my bridal party (and especially my mother), so much more enjoyable. I had guests and vendors alike coming up to me the entire night letting me know how amazing Kami was. The event went so smoothly, and it was so comforting knowing that Kami would be taking care of everything behind the scenes so that I wouldn’t have to be tied up working with vendors and handling problems. Best of all, at the end of the night, my family and friends got to go home and relax while Kami and her crew packed up all the gifts and decorations, and made sure that our marriage license got into the right hands. This is really what a wedding should be like!

My wedding day was absolutely the best day of my life. Everything was perfect, thanks to Kami with WedPortland. Throughout the entire planning process she was there as a guide and kept me from becoming overwhelmed with the enormity of putting together a wedding. Kami is extremely organized, thoughtful, and I must add very punctual (unlike myself and my husband). By the time we reached the one week before the wedding marker I was nearly stress free. Kami took over all the details and made sure everything was in perfect order for the day of. Several vendors even commented back to me on how nice it was to work with her. On the wedding day, Kami took care of everything. And I mean every little detail including checking us into our Bed and Breakfast! My husband and I didn’t have to worry or take care of any snafus and she made sure that the evening progressed smoothly. I can’t say enough how much it meant to me and my husband to have a stress free wedding – it gave us more time to celebrate with our family and friends and enjoy our special day. I highly recommend Kami to anyone considering a wedding coordinator!!

Our wedding day turned out spectacular and exactly the way we envisioned. I have no doubt that our wedding day turned out as wonderful as it did because of all of Kami’s hard work and dedication. Kami is incredibly easy to work with because she listens to the client and offers the most helpful advice. Kami is an incredible person and even more amazing wedding coordinator. One of the things I love most about Kami is that she takes a genuine interest in getting to know her clients. I didn’t just get a wedding coordinator I also found a friend.
