About ” A Stress Free Wedding”
Married at a young age, my mother did all the planning and coordinating for the day of my own wedding. Since I did not participate much in the planning process I had not realized, until years later, the fun and excitement I had really missed.
Creating “A Stress Free Wedding” started back in 2000 when my best friend announced her engagement and asked if I would be one of her bride’s maids. Although I had attended many weddings prior to hers, I was very excited because it was the first time I had the opportunity to be included in a wedding other than my own. I thought the reason I cried with joy during her entire ceremony was because she and I are more like sisters than best friends. I knew then I wanted to take part in weddings in some fashion in the future but did not know quite how or in what form.
Since 2001, I have assisted in the wedding planning and coordinating the event itself for my large family and network of friends. I loved doing this so much that in 2007, I finally planned and coordinated the day of a wedding on my own. After this wedding I learned that it was not like a job at all and that I wanted to do this all the time. It was then that I decided to start my own wedding planning and coordinating business.
Utilizing over 20 years of experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities in purchasing and project management has made me successful in developing vendor relationships and negotiating best pricing, which has ultimately provided positive benefits for my clients. Loving what I do as a wedding planner/coordinator professional has made “A Stress Free Wedding” a successful business today.
I love what I do because it does not seem like a job at all. I would enjoy having the opportunity to make your wedding day a dream come true. Of course, I can’t promise I won’t cry.
